Clevergig announces the appointment of new CTO
Exciting new players in Tech HR, clevergig has appointed Sergey Prihodko as the company’s new CTO to take on new challenges for growth and innovation. Sergey has been an invaluable workforce in the clevergig ranks since its inception and on 1 October 2018 was given the rewarding opportunity and responsibility to head up the development team.
CEO and Founder of clevergig, Michel Pilet, is very happy to have Sergey onboard as the new CTO. “I am extremely excited to have Sergey join us as our full-time and dedicated CTO. Prior to his appointment, Sergey has earned his stripes as the Product lead for clevergig over the past two years. He was instrumental in the overall development of the product and our team of engineers. Sergey knows our culture and fits right in. I am looking forward to his leadership in taking clevergig to the next level in our product and technology.”
Clevergig’s latest improvements
Headed by newly appointed CTO the team have worked tirelessly on creating a more stable product. “The server architecture has been optimized so that with the same resources it is ready to serve a much larger stream of users’ requests” This allows more opportunity for scalability which means the updates are helping more people. The effects can be felt by users via quicker load times and fewer disruptions in performance and with zero downtime
“The improved stability and performance of our product provides a solid foundation for growth. In the past year, product usage grew exponentially. Both because of a growing customer base and growing usage among individual clients. Our mobile and web app are now fully ready to deal with much higher usage. This gives me and the entire company the peace of mind to fully focus on commercial growth” says Michel.
Sergey says this of his appointment, “ I am overjoyed about being a CTO of clevergig. The new tasks, new challenges and new decisions I’ll encounter have filled me with energy and anticipation. For me this is not just a job its part of my life. And having said that, am sure that this will be a turning point not only in my life but also in the life of clevergig. I know that together with Michel and Arnoud we will be able to bring the product up to 1 million ARR in the near future”.
