Benelux DIY specialists, Maxeda, have teamed up with WeAreBrain to revamp and improve their Praxis app. Launched on 18 March 2019, the Praxis app will coincide with Praxis’ new customer loyalty program, Praxis Plus.
The new Praxis app will be the main portal to the Praxis Plus loyalty program, where customers will receive a host of loyalty benefits, including the use of a digital card, the latest promotions and, of course, personal discounts.
“We really want to offer our loyal customers more benefits and be more relevant to their situation. The revamped app offers us the opportunity to do so, wherever our customers are — at home or in the store. In parallel, our corporate identity has changed, which is also visualised in our new app” says Praxis Digital Marketing, Sebastiaan Elsholz.

Easier, faster, sexier
WeAreBrain took on the task of completely rebuilding the app from the ground up, affording us the opportunity to pack it with a new CMS, boosted by the latest software. We improved the UX and UI and redesigned the look and feel to give users a highly enjoyable experience.
We were able to add new features to the Praxis app, as well as build on existing ones to retain some of the original functionality. With the improved Praxis app users are now able to:
- Use a digital card to make purchases
- View weekly promotions and upcoming sales
- Gain loyalty points which lead to personal discounts
- Change profile settings
- Use their Air Miles card via a scanner
- Check opening hours of Praxis stores
- Set their favourite store

The improvements on the Praxis app were made possible by the collaborative efforts of the WeAreBrain team, headed by Omar M’Sadek, together with Luuk Roestenberg from Maxeda IT and Olivier Somer and Sebastiaan Elsholz from Praxis Digital Marketing.
