Meet Alexandr, our new Automation QA
At WeAreBrain we are always on the lookout for new ways to spice things up around the office to keep things remaining fresh. Whether it’s a hilarious meme doing the rounds or a new brand of coffee available in the cantine, us tech nerds enjoy discovering new things to make the day more meaningful. And this week is no exception, as we are so happy to welcome a new recruit to the team! Alexandr joins us as our new Automation QA.
As an Automation QA whiz, Alexandr is focused on helping us build new automation frameworks to implement into our latest projects, including web and mobile applications, and APIs. Although we figuratively threw Alexandr into the deep end by asking him to pull off such complex tasks before his seat was even warm, he has been handling the job like a pro – as we suspected. “Although I’ve haven’t been a Brainiac for very long, I have been in the testing field for years and so I feel very comfortable in my role. I really enjoy building my frameworks from scratch and seeing how they grow and help to improve the quality of the project” he says.
Looking from the inside out, we think WeAreBrain is a pretty cool place to work. So how does it feel to join the team for a newbie? “From the first day I started here I really liked the level of collaboration between all team members. I like that we have collaborative weekly updates which leave us all well informed about the business, the direction the company is moving, the difficulties it faces, and we all play an important part of its success. I find this refreshing and really cool, considering the instability that is happening in the world right now.”
If Alexandr didn’t end up a tech geek like the rest of us Brainiac misfits, what would he be doing as a job in an alternative universe? If given the chance he would like to be an airline pilot and travel the world from the air. And in his spare time, he would like to visit the famous Area 51 in Roswell to uncover its hidden secrets of extraterrestrials.
When he is not building API frameworks from scratch, Alexandr enjoys to breeze through his free time by listening to good music, reading a delightful novel, and planning his next travel adventure.
