Meet Elvire Jaspers, WeAreBrain’s CEO and Entrepreneurial Trailblazer
Elvire Jaspers is one of the fearless leaders at Brain. As CEO she has been the keystone of the WeAreBrain business and has been integral in developing the company’s vision. Striving to do business differently and pioneering a tech business that is people centered, Elvire puts great stock in coaching and skills development for the team. As a multinational business, WeAreBrain’s team is stretched across four countries and Elvire is the glue that holds us all together. Our team and our clients benefit from her passion and energy, which is demonstrated by her innovative approach to each and every project we undertake.
Being featured in the Netherlands’ ‘The Next Women to Watch’ list, is just one of the many accolades she has received in her career. Her entrepreneurial spirit has seen her through the creation of a number of businesses including clevergig, one of her most recent endeavours, a startup focused on staffing the up and coming Gig economy.
As part of both her personal and professional goals, she champions WeAreBrain’s pursuit to get more women in the tech field and in the Brain team. Her vision is to create a broader space in the industry for women to showcase their talent and skills.
Outside of the business world, Elvire’s other great passion is sailing. Foregoing the corporate world and pursuing a long-held dream to sail for almost two years with her partner Menno was one of the best decisions of her life, she says. To this day they still compete in various regattas and adventure sails to some of the world’s best destinations like the Mediterranean and Caribbean. Sailing across the Atlantic Ocean is still at the top of her bucket list.
While we are talking about bucket list items, the ardent explorer and traveller in Elvire still wishes to venture off on the Trans Siberian Express: the train from Moscow to Beijing, as well as visiting the Northern Lights in the coming future.
When asked which skill she wishes that she was blessed with she explains ‘I would love to be a creator/designer. I am fascinated by the possibilities of a creative brain and energy it gives to create something new. Hopefully, in my next life I will be a great photographer creating art out of photography.’ In our opinion Elvire is wonderfully creative and perhaps all that’s needed to make this wish come true is a new camera #christmaswishlist!
