Meet Max, QA Marvel and Man in the Moment
Max is another one of our can’t do without QAs, he is responsible for making sure what we create works and ensures continuous delivery of our various projects and product builds. Max started working with this team just after he graduated university and has been part of WeAreBrain almost since the beginning. He explains that he has really enjoyed how they have all grown and improved as a unit. ‘The thing I like most about what I do is that I really do influence the quality of our products.’
‘Working at WeAreBrain is very rewarding’ he says, ‘we work on such a broad array of products that it’s always interesting but the thing I love most of all is that I work with friends. We’re not just friends at the office but outside of working hours too!’
Max is one of those cool few, that when asked who he’d like to be if he could be anyone for a day replies, ‘I don’t know, I kind of like just being me’. A man in the moment, Max also asked me to come back to him in a couple years to ask about the legacy he wants to leave the world, because right now he is pretty busy just building his QA skill set. A few things he could just simply not live without are his family, music and you may have guessed it…testing.
Max does while away his time occasionally with daydreams of going swimming in the Red Sea, a vacation he hopes to make some time soon. Spending some much needed time in the sunshine and floating in the saltiest sea on Earth.
While not in the office, Max collects knives as a hobby. ‘I have quite a few of these shiny unnecessary things’ he laughs. He also spends a fair amount of time reading up on new tech developments on Geek Times and says the one special ability he wishes he had? ‘I’d like to be able to punch people in the face over TCP/IP’ — it’s a tech joke (one that went completely over my head).
We think Max is just the right combination of funny, crazy, smart that makes up some of the best characteristics of a true Brainiac!
