Meet Olga, WeAreBrain’s Finance Whiz
When Olga said the thing she likes most about being an accountant was the accurate and clear results you get with numbers, we knew we had the right woman for the job. BAM! Right on the money. Olga is dedicated to her profession so she is always researching changes to legislation and keeping abreast of developments in the financial and accounting world. Becoming completely fluent in English is another of her professional goals, which she pursues through the WeAreBrain ‘learn English’ initiative.
When not balancing the books at WeAreBrain, Olga is an avid hiker. She believes being out in the fresh air and communing with nature is a tonic for the soul. When asked about what makes her happiest on Earth and what she could not possibly live without? “Simple, My husband, my son and chocolate of course!”
“My family is incredibly important to me and the top highlights of my life are meeting my husband and the birth of my son. I feel lucky to have such a wonderful family and my biggest goal in life is to teach my son how to appreciate and prosper in this world we live in” says Olga.
If she could be anything or anyone for a day she told us she’d really like to be a man. Why? “We have so many men in the team, I have a son and I’d really like the opportunity to get a better understanding of how men think and feel about certain things. I’d also like to see if there is a real difference between how men and women think and of course I’d really like to know how male logic works” 😉
Olga wishes she could travel back in time to see the construction of the pyramids. She is curious about that period in history and is in awe of how they were built without any of the world’s modern building technology and tools.
We also asked her what is the one thing that not many people know about you? she says ‘I really love the feeling of when an aeroplane lifts off — it’s a bit of an adrenaline rush and it’s so fun for me’. It seems we may have a thrill seeker in our midst.
Even though Olga works behind the scenes we know without her, WeAreBrain just wouldn’t be the same!
